My Vision

My Vision on the Finca Doña Luzmilda

La Finca Doña Luzmilda is a source of employment, of food production, a place of refuge and peace for friends and family, and a helping hand to the needy.

The farm is a model of conservation and comprehensive farming.  This is a place for researching new methods and best agricultural practices that may benefit the small farmer. It is a place of knowledge sharing with small farmers.

As conservationist farm, we will use of minimum needed chemicals and promote the use of organic materials. New trees are planted each year both timber as well as fruit trees. We give special importance to planting trees that are in danger of extinction in the area, and those that provide food and habitat for native birds.

This is a place of refuge and peace for nature lovers.  We will continue improving our gardens and recreational areas every year. Finca Doña Luzmilda welcomes, with open arms, nature lovers from all corners of our planet. Welcome to those looking for a peaceful place to stay, and who want to contribute beautifying our natural paradise.

Finca Doña Luzmilda is also a project aiming to give a hand to those in need.  The selling of products and  services will help us in this cause.
